Privacy notice

How the website, decision tools and community handle information. Effective 4 October 2026.

Browsing and hosting

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Hosting and security services can process technical request information such as IP address, request time, browser information and the requested page to deliver content and protect the service. Cloudflare describes its processing in its privacy policy ↗.

Search, calculator and platform finder

The site’s search and decision tools run in your browser. This implementation does not submit calculator amounts or finder answers to an IONOSX database, and it does not write these answers to cookies or local storage. Search terms are kept in the page’s URL fragment for navigation rather than sent by a search form to a server. Your browser may retain its own history or autofill information.

Cookies and analytics

The site code does not include advertising pixels, a third-party analytics script, embedded videos or a newsletter tracking form. Cloudflare may process information or use mechanisms required for its delivery and security services. Browser controls can restrict cookies, but some external services may then behave differently.

Email correspondence

Using the email link opens your mail app. If you send a message, the address, message and any attachments you provide are processed through the email provider to respond, address corrections or maintain necessary correspondence. Do not send passwords, payment-card details or unnecessary personal information. Correspondence is retained as needed for the inquiry, legitimate recordkeeping and legal obligations, rather than for a stated fixed period that may not fit every request.

Affiliate and external websites

Affiliate buttons and source links take you to separate providers. Their sites may set cookies and process referral identifiers, account data or purchase information under their own policies. IONOSX may receive referral or commission reporting provided by an affiliate program, but does not collect payment-card details through this website. See the affiliate disclosure.

Sharing and your choices

Information is handled by the hosting and email providers needed to operate the site and answer messages, and may be disclosed when legally required or necessary to address security or abuse. We do not operate a business selling visitor contact lists. You can use browser privacy controls, avoid external links and contact us about personal information in correspondence. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion; identity verification or legal retention limits may apply.

International services and changes

Cloud hosting, email and merchant systems may process information in multiple countries under their own safeguards and terms. This site is intended for people researching business software, not for collecting information from children. The effective date above will change when this notice is materially revised.

Display and interactive effects

This version uses system fonts and local visual assets, without requesting Google Fonts or an external animation library. Its decorative motion, questionnaire and cost estimates run locally. Answers and motion choices remain in memory for the current page; they are not written to cookies or local storage. The interface does not call a live AI service or send your answers to a provider.

Community comments and ratings

The comment and reply forms send your chosen name or nickname, message, optional top-level star rating, parent comment number for a reply, and a submission identifier to IONOSX through a Cloudflare Pages endpoint. These are stored in Cloudflare D1. Messages without review-keyword matches publish immediately; matching messages wait privately for owner review. Published names, messages, dates and stars are public. Top-level comments may be featured. Nicknames are self-reported, not identity-verified. Legacy review-topic values may remain in older database records but are no longer requested or displayed.

Turnstile checks for spam when you interact with the form. It processes technical browser and connection information under Cloudflare’s privacy policy. The application stores a keyed, one-way IP-derived identifier for rate limiting, not the raw IP address or user-agent string. Cloudflare’s own security infrastructure can still process IP addresses. We use a submission identifier to avoid duplicate posts after retries.

The form does not require an email address or an account, and drafts stay in page memory rather than being saved to browser storage. Do not post private information. Community records are retained while needed to operate and moderate the discussion; report abuse or request correction/removal at [email protected], including the comment ID. We may need enough information to verify a request. Deletion from the public site cannot remove copies others have already made.

The server compares the name and message with an editable word-and-phrase list. Matched terms are stored in private moderation notes; the public API does not expose pending content, those notes or anti-spam identifiers. This automated screen is not an AI safety assessment and may make mistakes.

Site-owner access and replies

The owner area uses a secure, HTTP-only session cookie to let the site owner moderate comments and publish replies. The session expires after one hour and is revoked on sign-out. Visitor comment forms do not require an owner account or this cookie.

Owner replies are displayed as IONOSX, with a Site owner label. They do not count as visitor reviews and do not affect rating averages. Moderation actions are recorded privately. Login attempts are rate-limited using keyed IP-derived identifiers; expired sign-in records are cleaned during successful sign-in.
